Hi! We are Helen & Sarah
We are accent and dialect specialists committed to helping
you love talking in English!
We have been friends since 2009 when we met training actors at London’s prestigious drama school Drama Centre. We bonded over our shared passion for voice work and pizza and have built our careers helping people to love their voices.
We have been accent coaches on some of the biggest Hollywood movies of the past decade, and worked with some of the world’s most famous actors.
Between us we have spent almost three decades identifying the biggest issues for international speakers of English and why they are misunderstood. We even wrote a best-selling book about it! (Work On Your Accent, published by Collins and now in its’ second edition - check out ‘Our Book’ page for more info!). We know how hard it can be identifying exactly what sounds are impacting your intelligibility and we are here to help you develop the accent you truly deserve.
We don’t believe there is one ‘correct’ accent. Our method aims to provide you with the tools to achieve intelligibility without losing your identity.
Our goal is to help you understand exactly how English changes from words on a page into connected speech conversations so you can speak confidently and clearly without simplifying your language.

We are so lucky to have worked on some incredible films with some incredible actors. We have worked all over the world including Hungary, France, Ukraine, The USA, Serbia, Poland, Italy, Belgium and Australia.
